MAGNUS PLEJDRUP

Magnus Plejdrup (b. 1995) is a Danish composer and conductor. Having just finished his bachelor studies in composition at The Royal Academy of Music, Aarhus, with teachers Niels Rønsholdt, Juliana Hodkinson and Simon Steen-Andersen, he will undertake master studies in orchestral conducting at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow from september 2021 with, amongst others, teachers Martin Brabbins and Michael Bawtree. Recent highlights include the engagement as Assistant Conductor of the Aarhus Summer Opera and winning the Audience Prize at The Danish Sinfonietta’s composers competition 2021. Furthermore, Magnus is the artistic leader and founder of Aarhus-based chamber orchestra ‘Ensemble Pluma’.
