What are your interests besides music?
In my free time, I can often be found in the kitchen learning new dishes and desserts or experimenting with different recipes! I’m interested in culinary culture and enjoy trying traditional or popular food from the countries I travel to.
Who are your biggest inspirations and why?
I always feel blessed to have such great mentors and teachers around me. Listening to their music, receiving their helpful advice, or just having a conversation with them is a rich source of inspiration for me!
Your top 3 favourite pieces of music (classical/other genres)
My favorite pieces can change over time, but at the moment they are Mendelssohn's Octet, Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 3, and, last but not least, Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto. Frankly, everything by Tchaikovsky is fantastic music!
What do you like about playing chamber music?
What I love about playing chamber music is the inspiration I draw from working and playing music with wonderful colleagues and professional musicians I admire. Sharing the stage to perform together is such an enjoyable experience! The process of learning to play and discovering our way together as a collective group is an interesting and exciting creative journey.
